Introduction: Racism in Taiwan (by Jing)

Nowadays, more and more foreign laborers (include foreign bride) come to Taiwan. They come to Taiwan just want to earn more money for their family or make their dream come true. It needs courage to come to a strange country to work. Maybe they will make expect before they come to Taiwan. But when they arrive Taiwan, they will find that most people racism them just because they are foreign laborers.
Being a foreigner’s dreams land, is Taiwan friendly? Blessie, a foreign laborer wrote a poetry is said “A stranger in your land as I seemed to you. Like an intruder I am judged with malice. I am never tried, but convector in your thoughts. I am a prisoner surrounded by your strong pillars Confused and helpless. Yet stands still. In the hope that someday I am orphaned by a home called Taiwan.” Just like Blessie said, many employers in Taiwan only think foreign laborers just like guest workers so they’re condition of work don’t need to high. In contrast, they have to do their work even all day long and their wages may be very low. We should to understand them. We can talking with them, understand why they want to come to Taiwan to waork, help them if they have problems or troubles. We should make a friend with them. Remember, foreign laborers not just a low-price labor, they are the hardworking people! The world is the global village. So we have make our country without any racism because we just like a big family.

Introduction: Racism in Taiwan (by Coco)

In recent years, more and more foreign laborers come to Taiwan for work. In their countries only have a few work opportunities, so they have no choice but to across the ocean from their hometown to Taiwan for a job. But in Taiwan, employers hired these people and give them unequal treatment, for instance, pay them very few wages, overtime work, etc. To the research, we want to undo everybody’s unusual judgment of the laborers and make everyone equal treats them as our friends. Let Taiwan become a parti-colored society without racism.

Introduction: Racism in Taiwan (by Caroline)

Every year, thousands of foreigners come to our country. And no matter what is their purpose, most of the reasons are the same -- work. You can see them looking after the old or children, sweeping the house, dividing the labour in a industry, and so forth. However, during the exhausting work, do they possess the same condition of equality? Racial discrimination, including extra work hours and unfair treatment, facts such like these can be seen everywhere. Therefore, misapprehension between two nations is easily to occur.
To begin with, we will search for the incidents that correspond to these kinds of issue. Also, it's necessary to make a questionnaire to know what the public think of them. And find out how to better it. After all, it's not fair to judge them just because they are from other countries. We’re not superior, so each group should assert their rights. And that's what we're trying to do in this research.
